SAMUEL HA-KOHEN DI PISA:
Portuguese scholar of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. He wrote a commentary on the difficult passages in Ecclesiastes and the Book of Job, discussing in it the immortality of the soul and the question as to whether Job denied the resurrection of the dead. The work, which is divided into fourteen chapters, appeared in Venice in 1650.
