COHEN, SOLOMON BEN ELIEZER LIPMANN OF LISSA:
German scholar; lived at Posen at the end of the eighteenth century and at the beginning of the nineteenth. He was a shoḥeṭ at Posen, and made a careful study of Ibn Ezra's commentary on the Bible, on which he wrote a supercommentary entitled "Abi 'Ezer" (The Father of Help), published at Posen, 1802.
