JOSEPH BEN ELIMELECH OF TORBIN:
Polish scholar of the seventeenth century. He was the author of "Ben Ẓiyyon" (Amsterdam, 1690), containing mnemonic terms for the precepts, formulas of headings of letters, explanations of the accent "zarḳa," ethical dissertations, and hymns for seafarers, merchants, etc.
