JUDENSCHREINSBUCH:
Collection of deeds belonging to Jews in the St. Lawrence parish of the city of Cologne (Germany); since the thirteenth century they have been kept in a separate alcove; later on they were bound into book form. The Jewish deeds were written in Latin and often also in Hebrew, the Hebrew text being sewed to the Latin document. They date from about 1230 to 1347, and have been edited by Robert Höniger and Moritz Stern ("Judenschreinsbuch der Laurenzpfarre zu Köln," Berlin, 1888) for the Historische Commission.
